This box is GREAT! It's rock solid (unlike some of the fabric boxes) and the rubber edges will help keep everyone's shins safe :)

Great box super design even for carrying it around. Thanks for the thought you put into the design. Using it for off season lacrosse training. Thanks again for offering this great product to college athletes.
Instructions were easy to read to build the box. Plyobox is very sturdy and is a great addition to the gym.
These boxes withstood a competition and kept everybody shins safe during! Will want to collaborate going into our next competition to have the whole floor with them
The box is perfect for what I needed. It feels stable and I do love the soft edges. The reason I didn’t give a 5 star rating is because if the quality of the product. The wood came shipped and had imprints in some places. Seemed like the material was cheaply made for what the box cost. For the price I paid I expected something not damaged.
One side of my box had void in the layer below and caused a hole in the top layer. Wondering if you could help me out?

Hate to admit it but I've had not one, but TWO trips to the ER for botched box jumps. This isn't a budget product (you might even call it bougie) but it's still cheaper than getting my shins stitched up for a 3rd time. High quality, solid construction, and it looks cool.
Some of the holes didn't match up during assembly. So that was frustrating, but otherwise a good product.
I had some issues with the first roo box. I reached out to AbMat and I experienced incredible customer service. With some communication and a little patience I was very well taken care of and ended up with a perfect product. If you have a drill with a hex bit driver I would definitely recommend that over using the hand tool. I had to turn some of the screws on the frame pieces so the threaded bits would line up properly with the inserted screws. Check that these are all lined up before you start building, it will save you from having to unscrew a whole panel because one hole wasn't lined up properly!
Arrived missing two pieces so I couldn’t put together. When new pieces arrived, the compressed wood was split. Wood splintered when installing screw. Feel like it’s low quality wood for price paid.
My only wish would be a little more sanding of the plywood edges. Other than that minor thing it is an incredible design and great experience. I know some people are uncertain about the price, but I'm very handy and by the time I would have collected the materials, made the cuts, etc the roobox is a great value and I could not make something similar at this price point and I simply could not make something this good. Thank you for making this product.
All in all, a sturdy, well-made box. Only suggestion would be to sand the handles more - they were a little rough and splintery.

Nice design, but the plywood cuts are very rough. Huge splinters on the edges of the plywood, not acceptable workmanship... but what am I going to do, send back this huge hunk of a thing? I'll have to sand it down.

Love the box! Only 2 downsides...we have it in the gym with the rest of the plyo boxes and it's the last to be grabbed. Maybe just because it's quite bit heavier than the others (which explains the sturdiness!). Also, when doing box jump overs the matted part doesn't allow for your foot to slide off easily. Kinda gets stuck. Overall, I really like it, but those would be my 2 pieces of feedback for future iterations!

This thing is sturdy and quality. Putting the box together took about an hour. I was surprised by the quality of the final build: this thing is a solid tank of a plyo box, and I won’t be shredding my shins! It is so high quality I have decided to slather on some tung oil to show it off a little bit more. Still in progress with the final finish, but it’s already getting some use on those step ups wearing weight vest and ruck sack. Bravo!
This is a follow up to my original review on 12/16/2023. I struggled to get the box assembled and my frustration was evident in the review. The customer service team was generous enough to send me a new box and I also received a phone call from Austin (one of the owners) to offer any assistance in getting the second box assembled. I actually had someone assemble as I was not sure my drill was the issue with the first attempt. The second box was assembled without issue and I am a happy and satisfied customer. I used the box last night and it is perfect for my needs. I will admit that the botched assembly on the first box was my error and the Abmat team was very supportive in getting this resolved. I will continue to support and I do wish that initial review could be removed. Thanks again to Alisha and Austin for the support and follow up. I very much appreciate.
Very well engineered and made! Assembly takes 15 min as long as you have a power drill/screwdriver. All holes are pre-drilled and instruction is clear. Assembled the box is pretty heavy and looks and feels it can take a lot of use and abuse without falling apart. Highly recommend!
Love this on every level. Phenomenal, beautiful quality and construction. Sturdy, strong and stable. Feels as good as it looks. From the first jump I knew I made the right choice in a crowded field of plyo boxes. Instant fan of the AbMat RooBox. Customer service also outstanding. Killer investment. Very intelligent design. It was easy to construct, I like the additional handles, and is less noisy than the main competitor's product.
Nicely built, you have to be careful with splinters when putting it together. The inside isn’t as nicely finished as the outside, if at all. I would have expected better for the price especially. I would recommend some form of locktite on the bolts. Otherwise no other problems, should last. We will see how the foam holds up.
