Q: Which way do you use an AbMat?
A: AbMats are intentionally two sided. The average persons spine connects to they’re pelvis with an anterior pelvic tilt between 15 - 30 degrees hence the two sides of the AbMat. The right side for you to use is the one that feels most comfortable.

Q: What does an AbMat do?
A: An AbMat fills the natural curve created by your spine when laying flat on your back. When positioned under your lower back the AbMat props up your pelvis and allows your spine to drape over the AbMat creating a full stretch of the abdominal muscles. This stretch allows you to go through a full range of motion from extension to contraction.
]]>Q: What do the Abdominals do?
A: In short, the job of the abdominal muscles is to support and bend the spine. The Abdominal muscles attach to the rib cage and the pelvis, when they contract, they bend the spine from full extension to full flexion.
